Meet Dr. Lisa Seim
Dr. Lisa Seim was born and raised in the St. Charles area and is honored to serve her hometown. She became interested in orthodontics when she had braces as a teen. As an orthodontist, she loves getting to know her patients and watching them gain confidence, just like she did.
Dr. Seim attended St. Louis University, where she received degrees in Nutrition & Dietetics and Biology. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. She graduated at the top of her dental school class with Magna Cum Laude recognition. Dr. Seim earned her Orthodontic Certificate and Master of Science in Dentistry (M.S.) at St. Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education. During her residency, she had the unique opportunity to complete a fellowship with Washington University’s Cleft Palate and Craniofacial team at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Seim is committed to professional excellence and is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontics, the Missouri Dental Association, the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She continuously expands her knowledge of orthodontics through continuing education lectures, meetings and courses.
Dr. Seim also supports philanthropy in the community. Seim Orthodontics is proud to work with Smiles Change Lives, a non-profit organization that helps children whose families cannot afford the full cost of braces. Every child deserves to feel good about their smile!
Outside of the Practice
Dr. Seim loves spending time with her family, including her husband, Dr. Eric Seim, who owns a chiropractic practice in the same building as Seim Orthodontics. They have two sons, Kyler and Karsyn, and two Bernese Mountain Dogs, Barli and Basil. They are avid travelers and enjoy hiking in the mountains and cruising the Caribbean. In her free time, Dr. Seim’s favorite activities are paddle boarding and practicing hot yoga.
